Arcenciel & L’artisan Du Liban: ‘Tourath’ Collection

The in-house ceramic production at arcenciel is run entirely by people with disabilities.

Products start out as clay and end up as decorative household items. For this ‘Tourath’ collection, each ceramic piece was hand painted. Every painting represents a Lebanese theme, specifically around life in the villages.

This serving bowl revives tradition by telling stories of the times spent in Lebanese villages. Here we can see people cheering and dancing to the music of the Tablah, an instrument typical to Lebanese culture. The “Tourath” collection sheds a new light on how they can be celebrated and reconnected with the modern world.
